1.2. By participating, attendees and speakers consent to the recording and use of their contributions (e.g., presentations, discussions, or interactions during the event).
1.3. Recordings will be used for:
- Archiving conference proceedings for future reference.
- Sharing insights with a broader audience post-event.
- Educational and promotional activities advancing Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
2. Speaker Rules and Responsibilities
2.1. Content Ownership and Permissions
- Speakers retain intellectual property rights over their presentations and materials.
- By participating, speakers grant the Green Education Organisation a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to record, publish, and promote their contributions as outlined in this policy.
2.2. Presentation Guidelines
- Presentations must align with the conference theme and the Six Pillars of Green Education.
- Presentations must conform to the official branding and color scheme of the World Green Education Conference #GEC24.
- Final presentation materials should be submitted at least 24 hours before the event to ensure platform readiness.
2.3. Code of Conduct
- Speakers must maintain a respectful and professional tone, avoiding discriminatory or inappropriate content.
- Courtesy and professionalism during interactions with attendees are mandatory.
2.4. Cancellations and Modifications
- Speakers unable to fulfill their commitment must notify the organizers immediately.
- Changes to content must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
3. Publication Policy
3.1. Participant Visibility and Consent
By participating, speakers and attendees grant the Green Education Organisation the right to:
- Publish their name, professional affiliation, and presentation title in conference materials.
- Feature biographical information in the conference handbook.
- Showcase participation details on the official conference website and social media platforms.
3.2. Scope of Publication Rights
Publication rights include, but are not limited to:
- Conference handbook and proceedings.
- Official website and social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
- Post-event promotional materials and annual reports.
3.3. Content Usage Guidelines
Published content will:
- Maintain professional and contextually appropriate representation.
- Accurately reflect participants’ contributions.
- Align with the conference mission and respect individual privacy.
3.4. Opt-Out Mechanism
Participants may request exclusion from promotional materials by:
- Submitting a written request to conference@greeneducation.uk within 7 days of registration.
- Specifying exact limitations on their visibility.
3.5. Intellectual Property Preservation
- Speakers retain full ownership of their original content.
- Attribution will be provided for all shared materials.
- No commercial use beyond conference promotion will occur.
3.6. Image and Multimedia Rights
Participants authorize the use of:
