Dr. Wahab Ali is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Education Department at the University of Fiji. He holds a PhD in Teacher Education and Leadership from the University of New England and has received the Australian Leadership Award and the Vice-Chancellor’s Teaching Excellence Award. An active researcher, Dr. Ali has published extensively in reputable peer-reviewed journals, including a recent article on \\\\\\"Online and Remote Learning in Higher Education Institutes: A Necessity in Light of the COVID-19 Pandemic,\\\\\\" published in the Canadian Journal of Higher Education in 2020. He has reviewed numerous research papers and supervised Master\\\\\\'s and Doctoral theses, with two of his students successfully earning their Doctorate Degrees. With 16 years of experience as a tertiary educator, researcher, and publisher, Dr. Ali coordinates Higher Degree programs at the University of Fiji and supervises research students on their projects and dissertations.
