Professor Diane Grayson is a physicist, STEM educator, higher education specialist and systems thinker. She studied Physics in South Africa and the USA, and has worked in various teaching, research and management roles in higher education. She has been a visiting academic in several countries and served on national and international physics and science education committees. She is passionate about promoting success for all students through good teaching, curriculum design and holistic support. In her last role as Senior Director: Academic Affairs at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) she developed a people-centred model for systemic institutional change. She is now an Honorary Professor in Physics at Wits and lives in Wales.
