Professor Hanan Elshair is a Professor of Educational Technology at Ain Shams University, Egypt, where she serves as Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research. She is a former head of the Department of Instructional and Information Technology and has held roles as Manager of the eCourse Development Center at EELU and Manager of Instructional Design at SCU, Egypt. An Alternative Fulbright scholar, Professor Elshair has published two books with Dar Elfikr ElAraby, authored over 20 papers in top-rated journals, and supervised more than 50 master’s and doctoral students. Her experience includes participation in numerous national and international educational projects, consulting for eLearning institutions, and publishing articles in Al-Ahram daily newspaper, alongside appearances in interviews on Egyptian national television. She has taught courses at Ain Shams University, the American University in Cairo, and Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University in the UAE, and is recognized as a skilled trainer and eContent designer. Professor Elshair also founded the Seminar and Misriqia academic journals, as well as the Ethical Approval Committee at the Faculty of Women.
