Green Education Organization Announces Launching Green Education Conference #GEC24 in COP28

Dubai, December, 2023 – In Partnership with Baseet UAE, and Climate Education Network, Green Education Organization engaged thousands with Transformative Strategies in Green Education amidst announcing the launching of World Green Education Conference 2024 GEC24, to be held between 24th and 26th September 2024.

The United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP28, which was held from November 30 to December 12, 2023 in Dubai, UAE witnessed the attendance of delegations from all 198 Parties, including heads of states and world leaders, thousands of non-government organizations, companies, youth groups, and other stakeholders who gathered around climate action and discussed concrete solutions across civil society, government, industries and all sectors of the economy.

Under the theme “Empowering Change: Transformative Strategies in Green Education (Education 6.0)” Green Education Organization addressed the vital role of education in driving sustainable development and The Green Education Transformation (Education 6.0). They shared transformative strategies that empower educators educational leaders to shape a sustainable future and engage individuals at all levels. The dialogue emphasized that education is a powerful tool for fostering a deep understanding of economic, social, and environmental challenges and solutions.

Affirming their commitment to advancing Green Education on a global scale, Green Education Organization announces launching the World Green Education Conference 2024 to bring together educators, researchers, and professionals from around the world, to exchange innovative approaches, research findings, and best practices in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and foster global collaboration towards Green Education Transformation (Education 6.0).
