Formerly known as the Beijing Institute of Chemical Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) has been a prominent institution since its establishment in 1958, undergoing a name change in 1994 and formal affiliation with the Chinese Ministry of Education four years later. As one of the distinguished Project 211 universities, BUCT is dedicated to enhancing higher education standards and contributing to China's societal and economic progress.
