Indian Institute of Technology - Roorkee holds a distinguished position as one of the premier institutes of national importance in higher technological education and engineering, alongside basic and applied research. Offering Bachelor's Degree programs in 10 engineering and architecture disciplines and Postgraduate's Degree programs in 55 fields encompassing engineering, applied science, architecture, and planning, the institute provides ample opportunities for doctoral research across all departments and research centers. Admission to B.Tech. and B.Arch. courses is conducted through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) held at various centers nationwide.
