About NanJing Tech University
Located in Nanjing in mainland China, Nanjing Tech University is an academic institution which specializes in the teaching of engineering degrees. All students must also take compulsory English language classes in addition to their main degree. The university is composed of two main campuses and consists of a total of 26 colleges. Across all levels of study (undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD) there are approximately 30,000 students enrolled at the university. More than 900 professors are responsible for educating the university’s students. Nanjing is the second-largest city in the East China region with a population exceeding eight million people. Once the capital city for various Chinese dynasties, this is a location rich in history and - more recently - a major center for several industries including electronics and pharmaceuticals. Today, the city also has a few different industrial zones designed to encourage the acceleration of industry.
