About Qassim University

Qassim University (QU) is one of the government universities in Saudi Arabia. The university was established in 2004 and has 36 colleges. The number of its faculty members is exceeding 4000, along with over 3000 employees serving its over 39,000 male and female students. The QU main campus is located at 7.8 million square meters in the center of the Qassim region, near Prince Naif Airport, and in an intermediate area between its cities and governorates. The university has two satellite campuses located in two major cities of the region Unizah and Arrass. QU vision is to become a nationally distinguished institution of higher education, supporting sustainable development in the Qassim Region, and helping to advance knowledge based society. However, its mission is to provide high quality, accredited education, produce competent graduates who meet the needs of the labour market, conduct applied research and offer quality community services to develop Qassim Region and to contribute to the building of a knowledge based economy. All goals will be achieved by using the most advanced technology and information technology and information processing, fostering national and international partnerships, and boosting the university's resources.
