Founded in 1175, The University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) is one of the oldest universities in the world and it is considered one of the best universities in Italy for teaching and research. With over 20,000 students, including 1,200 international students and 3,500 postgraduates, it is large enough to offer all the facilities one would expect from a major university but small enough to retain a personal and friendly learning environment.
