About Castilla-La Mancha university
The University of Castile-La Mancha (UCLM) was founded in 1982 and opened its doors to students three years later. Students can undertake courses in numerous locations, including Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Toledo, Almadén and Talavera de la Reina. The university’s HQ is in Ciudad Real which coordinates the other centers. The Albacete campus houses Faculties of Medicine, Economic and Business Sciences, Law and Humanities, as well as the Schools of Agronomical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Nursing, Teacher Training and Employment Relations. Ciudad Real is home to the Faculties of Chemical Sciences, Law and Social Sciences, Arts, the Higher Technical Schools of Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering; a Technical Institute of Agriculture; the Polytechnic University School of Almadén; a University School of Nursing; a University School of Teacher Training; and the Puertollano Centre for University Studies. In addition, the UCLM develops specialized programs to learn English, French, German, Italian, Chinese or Japanese, and is recognized by the Cervantes Institute as an examining center for the Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE).
