About Mansoura University

Mansoura University, situated on the east bank of the Nile approximately 120km northwest of Cairo, was established in 1972. The university boasts a faculty of over 7,000 members who instruct more than 165,000 undergraduate students and 18,000 postgraduate students across diverse degree programs spanning engineering, science, agriculture, veterinary medicine, medicine, and dentistry. While most programs are delivered entirely in English, there are also Arab-taught degree options available. Renowned for its medical facilities, Mansoura University houses nine major hospitals and medical centers, along with a Medical Experience Research Center (MERC). Notably, the university gained attention for its recent discovery of the Mansourasaurus, a genus of herbivorous dinosaur unearthed in the Quseir Formation of Egypt.
