Located in Bristol, the University of the West of England (UWE) traces its roots back to the 16th century Bristol Society of Merchant Venturers' Navigation School. Today, UWE boasts a diverse student body of over 27,000 students, including 4,000 international students from 140 different countries. Offering more than 600 courses across undergraduate, postgraduate, professional, and short course levels, the university covers a wide range of subjects including arts, creative industries, health, science, business, law, environment, and technology.
