About University of Udine

Established in 1978, the University of Udine is the only Italian university born out of popular will. It aims to promote higher education, research, technology transfer, internationalization, and interaction with the local community in a reciprocal flow of knowledge, experiences, and projects. An example is Uniud Lab Village, a new hub of laboratories where students and companies can interact, sharing know-how and research facilities. Uniud Lab Village also hosts internships and practical activities, which provide valuable added value to students' education and their integration into the workforce. In fact, Almalaurea, the national database of graduates for access to the job market and professions, shows that employment rates place Uniud graduates at the top in Italy and consistently above the national average. The University of Udine offers 40 undergraduate programs, 38 master's programs, and 3 single-cycle programs, with classes held on 7 campuses in Udine and nearby cities: Gorizia, Pordenone, and Gemona
